Convertmax connects Pipedrive to marketing attribution and revenue reporting. Closed-won deals become conversion events, people and deals sync into Convertmax, and optional attribution fields can write back to Pipedrive.
Use this guide after you install Convertmax from the Pipedrive Marketplace or connect from Integrations → Connectors.
Before you start
You need:
- An active Convertmax workspace (sign up at app.convertmax.io if you do not have one yet)
- Permission to install Marketplace apps in your Pipedrive company
- Permission to connect integrations in Convertmax
Tip: Finish Convertmax sign-in and workspace selection promptly after clicking Allow and install. Convertmax exchanges Pipedrive’s authorization code immediately, then asks you to pick a workspace.
1. Install from Pipedrive Marketplace
- Open the Convertmax listing in the Pipedrive Marketplace.
- Select Install now / Allow and install and review the requested permissions.
- Sign in to Convertmax with Google if prompted.
- Choose the Convertmax workspace to connect.
- You should land on Integrations → Connectors with Pipedrive showing Connected.
Do not install a second time. If you see an authorization expired message, reinstall from the Marketplace and complete Convertmax sign-in again.
Or connect from Convertmax
- Sign in to Convertmax and open Integrations → Connectors.
- Find Pipedrive and select Connect.
- Complete the Pipedrive OAuth dialog (Allow and install).
- Confirm the card shows Connected.
2. Confirm the connection
On Integrations → Connectors, Pipedrive should show:
- Connected
- Recent sync activity when the sync worker has run
- Webhook health when inbound events are flowing
Convertmax registers webhooks for person, lead, and deal changes so updates arrive without waiting for a full resync.
3. See closed-won deals in revenue
- In Pipedrive, open a deal and mark it Won (or wait for an existing won deal to sync).
- In Convertmax, open your Revenue report (or CRM revenue views).
- Look for Pipedrive under CRM sources — won deals appear as conversions (
pipedrive_deal_won) with deal value.
That is the core value of the integration: revenue at deal won, attributed alongside your other channels.
4. Open a synced person
- In Convertmax, go to Contacts.
- Open a contact that was synced from Pipedrive (or search by email).
- Use Open in CRM to jump back to the Pipedrive person record.
Pipedrive people link into Convertmax identity so website visitors and CRM contacts can merge on the same profile when emails match.
5. Optional: attribution write-back
When attribution write-back is enabled for your workspace, Convertmax can create and update custom fields on Pipedrive people and deals (for example attributed revenue and touchpoints).
- Confirm Pipedrive is Connected.
- After closed-won sync, open a won deal in Pipedrive and check Convertmax custom fields if your plan uses write-back.
- To stop write-back or disconnect entirely, use Integrations → Connectors → Disconnect on the Pipedrive card.
Disconnecting in Convertmax revokes OAuth access and stops webhook delivery. Uninstalling from Pipedrive also disconnects Convertmax for that company.
6. What Convertmax syncs
| Pipedrive data | In Convertmax |
|---|---|
| People & organizations | Contacts / identity linking |
| Leads | CRM sync & reporting |
| Deals (including won) | Pipeline context + closed-won conversions |
| Products on won deals | Product / SKU reporting |
| Real-time webhooks | Near real-time person, lead, and deal updates |
Troubleshooting
Pipedrive shows Connected but no revenue
- Confirm the deal status is Won and has a value.
- Wait for the next sync or webhook, then refresh the revenue report.
- Check Integrations → Connectors for a sync error on the Pipedrive card.
Install failed or authorization expired
- Reinstall from the Pipedrive Marketplace.
- Sign in to Convertmax and finish workspace selection without long delay.
- Use a Convertmax account that already has a workspace when possible.
Wrong workspace connected
Disconnect Pipedrive on Integrations → Connectors, then install again and select the correct workspace.
Disconnect
Convertmax: Integrations → Connectors → Pipedrive → Disconnect.
Pipedrive: Settings → Tools and apps → Marketplace apps → Convertmax → uninstall.
Either path stops sync and webhooks for that connection.
