Each workspace member has one sales persona. New members default to Revenue ops / admin. The persona decides which Sales pages they can open. It is separate from the workspace role (admin, member, or viewer), which decides whether they can save changes. A blank persona, or a workspace that is not using sales personas, keeps the full workspace.

A VP of Sales, a revenue ops user, or a full-workspace admin can assign a sales director to each rep. Open the project Members page and set Manager on that rep. A director’s contacts they can assign stay limited to those reps. There is no screen in the app for changing the persona itself.

Sales rep

Reps land on My Work: their assigned contacts, grouped into follow-up, meeting, nurture, and recently re-ranked queues. They can open a contact score, their own pipeline (My Pipeline), and account evidence for their contacts. Account evidence can be partial.

They do not see Team, By path, By campaign, or scoring settings. Contacts stay limited to ones assigned to them. Account settings are personal only: profile, notifications, and password.

Sales director

Directors see Contact Priorities for the workspace, Pipeline, Accounts, and Team. The Team report includes every rep. The project Members list shows only reps who have that director as Manager. Directors can assign an owner on an unowned contact, and only to those reps.

They do not see By path or By campaign. They can open Settings, but the scoring model, ideal customer profile, rules, and enrichment stay hidden. Those are edited by revenue ops or a full-workspace member. Account settings stay personal.

VP of Sales

VPs see the same sales pages as a director, plus By path and By campaign. They can assign any workspace rep as the owner of an unowned contact, and they can set the Manager on a rep.

They can open Settings without editing the scoring model. They also get the full account settings hub, including workspace billing and API keys, not only the personal tabs.

Revenue ops

Revenue ops is the admin persona for Sales Intelligence. They see every Sales page, including Team, By path, By campaign, and the scoring settings. They are not locked to the sales shell, so the rest of the Convertmax workspace stays available.

They can set a rep’s Manager. They do not get the owner-assign control on the priority list. That control is for directors and VPs. Saving scoring changes still requires a workspace or project role of admin or member. A viewer can open settings and cannot save them.

Full workspace

A blank persona is the full workspace. It matches revenue ops for Sales pages and for who can edit scoring. Use it when the person should not be treated as a sales-only user.
